 Hi, Parents

During our Saturday class we shared Chinese Zodiac animal stories. If the student didn’t speak yesterday, they will speak during next Saturday's class. 

 

We learned lesson 2 pages 19 to 21. We discussed the vocabulary, use of radicals , sentence making, and antonyms. During class I wrote 7 key characters,( please have your student write each down 5 times.)

 

We played the word recognition Bingo game.

 

Practiced “恭喜恭喜” song.

 

Homework: 

1.pages 21 and 22 in the Workbook.

 2.practice the characters class hand out (2 pages)

 3.practice the characters in the 7 key phrases discussed in class 5 times

今天我們請小朋友說了十二生肖的故事，如果今天沒說的人下次上課要上台說～

 

我們上了第二課第19-21 頁，生字、部首、句子練習、反義詞，今天有畫7個圈詞，請每個圈詞寫5遍

Happy New Year!

About this week 

1.New semester, new teacher introduced to students and each other. Everyone shared what they did during winter break. 

 

2.Discussed classroom rules and what we’ll do this semester 

 

3.Explained to students why we call Chinese New Year's eve「除夕」, why we stay up late「守歲」, put Red stuff「紅春聯」, do the fireworks「放鞭炮」 during the midnight. We also used these stories to played vocabulary word Bingo game 

 

4.Reviewed Lesson 2 page 16-18

 Homework: 

1. Find the Chinese Zodiac十二生肖 animal stories 

2.Find Chinese New Year greetings!
